The project is an expansion of the upscale Wafi Mall in Dubai, UAE. The 205,000 m² expansion includes a hypermarket, 19-screen cinema, retail outlets and a 50 storey 5 star, 565 Key Hotel Tower, to be operated by Sofitel. Influenced by many architectural forms from within the region, such as Egyptian and Turkish architecture, the mall boasts of various intricate details such as stained glass, intricate mosaics, carvings and sculptures.

ALULA Lighting Design has been involved in the design of some of the key areas such as the Hotel Lobby, Apartment Atrium, Cinema Atrium, External Driveways and Drop-off, and the Pool Deck that feature some of the most expensive details and sculptures within the property. Principles of museum lighting and hospitality lighting complement each other in the unique development.
