ALULA Lighting provided lighting design for the Nike’s new flagship store at Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre. The two storey, 25,000+ square ft store showcases a wide range of Nike products, including Women’s, Men’s, and Kid’s fashion, along with tech gadgets and accessories. Multi-layered, colour changing walls serve as a backdrop for the perimeter displays while dramatically illuminated free standing retail fixtures and mannequins punctuate the landscape. An oversized shoe wall on the two floors, along with a shoe museum cabinet, honours Nike’s place in the history of sneaker design. At the core of the space is an eye-catching feature stair comprised of silver finishes, dichroic glass, and a stwo-storey video wall and light box.
