Confidential Technology Firm
ALULA provided lighting design services for the renovation of a confidential technology firm’s offices in Unionville, Ontario. The 40,200‑ft² project supports the relocation of the firm’s Canadian headquarters, involving upgrades to existing office space to align with the organization’s latest global workplace standards and design guidelines.
The project includes a dedicated systems testing laboratory as well as a separate floor of typical office space. ALULA worked closely with key stakeholders throughout the design process to deliver highly coordinated solutions that met the firm’s rigorous technical standards and detailed design requirements.
A key element of the project was the design and implementation of a Systems Lab Testing area intended for the evaluation of advanced prototype electrical hardware. This specialized space required a tailored combination of custom connectors and receptacles to support complex testing and operational needs.
The renovation of the typical office areas focused on upgrading lighting systems, including new lighting controls for all enclosed spaces and re-zoning of open office areas to comply with the firm’s workplace standards.
