Akelius HQ

ALULA Lighting Design provided lighting design for the 37,000 ft² Akelius Canada Office in downtown Toronto, located within a historic 4-storey masonry and heavy timber building built in the early 1900’s. As part of the open concept renovation, updates were done to accommodate new reception, open office, meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, lunchroom and the new rooftop terrace. Tunable white LED lighting were used throughout the project to allow occupants the ability to control correlated colour temperature (CCT) temperature from a warm 2700K to a cool 5700K to simulate the natural colour temperatures throughout the day and through different times of the year.

Location: Toronto, Canada
Architect: WZMH Architects
Photographer: Ruta Kraujutyte
Completion: 2022
